The ASEAN IP Academy organises training program on IP & GRTKTCE
The ASEAN IP Academy, in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and supported by the IP Academy of the IP Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), is launching its second training program on the topic of “IP and GRTKTCE”.

This program is targeted at IP officials, researchers, GRTKTCE practitioners, lawyers, policy makers and other relevant stakeholders in ASEAN. The program aims to provide the target audience with a knowledge about current issues of IP and GRTKTCE and to develop skills to propose possible policy solutions to the future of GRTKTCE regulation in the region.
By the end of the three-day training program, participants will be able to differentiate between the different features of GRTKTCE, assess the possible ways for GRTKTCE protection and understand the concerns, challenges and limitations of GRTKTCE protection in existing legal systems. The program will also discuss the role of IP in commercializing GRTKTCE products and the processes for GRTKTCE database creation.
