The Regional Workshop on Patent Examination Quality Management was successfully organized by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in cooperation with MyIPO and with the assistance of Japan Patent Office (JPO) at Intellectual Property Training Centre, MyIPO.
The two-day regional workshop aimed to discuss the best practices of patent quality management that could be adopted by respective IP offices.
Director General of MyIPO, YBhg Dato’ Shamsiah Kamaruddin, on behalf of Chairman of MyIPO has officiated the regional workshop. Speaking at the opening ceremony were also Director of PCT International Cooperation Division of WIPO, Mr. Ken-Ichiro Natsume, and Director of Patent Examination Policy Office of JPO, Mr. Tomoya Yanagisawa.
The seminar has received participants from ASEAN and India.
