IPOS international searching services in Chinese
From 1 October 2016, IPOS will be the first International Searching Authority (ISA) and International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA) outside China that can search and examine Patent Corporation Treaty (PCT) applications filed in the Chinese language.

From 1 October 2016, IPOS will be the first International Searching Authority (ISA) and International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA) outside China that can search and examine Patent Corporation Treaty (PCT) applications filed in the Chinese language. Companies who wish to enter the Chinese market will stand to gain time and cost savings as they can now file directly in Chinese without a need for translation, accelerating their growth in the global innovation market via Singapore.
The final search report will be issued in Chinese. Applicant can inform IPOS if they prefer to receive the report in English. Interested applicants can now apply via the International Bureau as the Receiving Office.
